CAPTAINS DAY

Individual stableford. 95% Handicap Allowance off white tees. Best net score wins the Captain’s Putter. Captain supplies the prizes. Prizes for men, best scratch, ladies, seniors and juniors. Juniors must play with an adult. Entry fee £3.

CAPTAINS DRIVE IN

Played the first Saturday after the AGM. Formal drive in at 11am. Reserve 2 tee times: Group 1: Captain, Vice-Captain, Chairman & Treasurer. Group 2: Manager, Professional, President & Seniors Captain. Any combination 4BBB stableford. 85% handicap allowance. White Tees. Juniors must play with an adult. Prizes for: men, ladies, seniors, juniors and best scratch score. Best pair wins the New Years Cup. Entry fee £3.

CAPTAINS CHARITY DAY

4BBB stableford. 85% handicap off yellow tees. All proceeds go to the Captains chosen charity. Charity Cup for winning pair. Entry fee £5.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Consists of both a scratch/best gross (Royal Artillery Cup) and best net (Burlton Cup) competitions. Played over 36 holes with 18 holes on a Saturday and 18 holes on a Sunday. 95% Handicap Allowance (Maximum Playing Handicap 30). Played as near to the 21st June as possible. Juniors must play with an adult. Entry fee £6.

Prizes: Day 1: Best net & gross score.

Prizes Day 2: Best net & gross score. Artillery Cup – best overall gross/scratch score wins the cup. Plus 3 runners up prize. Burlton Cup – best overall net score wins the cup. Plus 3 runners up prize. Juniors can win the Artillery and/or Burlton Cups.

Burlton Cup (best net) – field cut after 1st round to the best 60 scores and ties who go out in reverse order on the Sunday. In the event of a tie a card playoff applies starting from the last 18 holes.

Royal Artillery Cup (best scratch/gross) – Field cut after 1st round to top 21 scores and ties who go out in reverse order. Leaders after 1st round going out last. In the event of a tie there is a 6-hole playoff (13-18).
